1st weekend without parents.

the 1st of may each month is my parents anniversary and every year they celebrate it differently. this year, on the 29th they set of on their journey to a holiday to a place which is not located in singapore.so my brothers and i would be left at home alone with a few other people, like my grandparents, for the weekend. dad told us to keep the place clean and orderly. they would be coming back in the morning on the 1st of may coz the next day they would need to go to work and everyone would need to go to school.

Today, our family went out together with our cousins,aunts and uncles. We ate dinner at a restaurant that my grandmother chose. It was a great dinner, all of us just sitting down, talking and laughing. after it all we went home tired but satisfied. it was the first cousins' gathering since Chinese New Year. hope we'll have more of these gatherings.

flying in the clouds

dad got us some tickets to go on a flying trip in a small private jet. dad's boss was going to pilot with gor co-piloting. it was just like a car, just slightly smaller. it was a great flight, everything went smoothly but the part i didn't like was when the plane went up...up...up...until the temperature in the plane dropped. it became cold but not so cold 'til your body freezes up. i loved the ride BUT it made me nauseous so i don't really want to go again. for the rest of the day we stayed at home doing almost nothing and at night we just chilled on the sofa bed eating chips and getting as fat as we can get without messing ourselves with puke. great day i say!!!

it is yet again another sunday and the whole family is at home doing their own things,minding their own business. paul is going for tuition and i would be next after him...as usual...so boring, having the same routine every sunday. today we did not go jogging early in the morning but hopefully later in the day we would get toogether to get some exercise. we woke up late today so we did not go to church...i know that we are supposed to go to church on a weekly basis but we're doing our best.
